 Bill Moorcroft Dr. Bill Moorcroft has a Ph.D. in Psychology from Princeton University and was a psychology professor at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Since 1971, Bill has specialized and taught college courses in sleep and dreams in these areas for over 25 years. He also has done 6 month fellowships in sleep disorders at Rush Medical College (Chicago) and the Mayo Clinic (Minnesota). Dr. Moorcroft is the author of three widely used books on sleep and dreaming. The most recent, Understanding Sleep and Dreaming, is available from Springer Publishers. In addition he has published extensive research and articles in sleep. His most recent are The Sleepless Child for Sleep: A Comprehensive Handbook (2006, J. Wiley & Sons) and Sleep Hygiene for the Fundamentals of Sleep Technology (2007, Lippincott Williams & Wilkins). Bill is listed in the current version of Who's Who. In 2002 Dr. Moorcroft founded Northern Colorado Sleep Consultants, LLC and is currently its chief consultant with offices in Colorado in Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, and Denver. He focuses on treating people with insomnia or nightmares and children with sleep problems. He also offers workshops and presentations on all aspects of sleep, dreams, and sleep disorders.
